Mexicali, Baja Mexico native America Cortez has been cooking for friends and family for many years now. Since moving to Vermont from San Diego, CA in 2008, she always dreamed of opening a place where she could share her cooking with the great people of Newport/Derby and anyone who adventures into her shop. The shop opened in 2014 with the help and support of friends, family and her loving husband Mike. It's been 5 years and making everyone feel at home has been a must here since day one.
