Full Plate Farm is run by Laura Hecht and Matt Crowley, who have been farming together in various capacities since 2001. They settled in the Brattleboro area in 2009. They eventually purchased a conserved property from the Vermont Land Trust in 2015, fulfilling their dream to own a farm. Dedicated to creating access to healthy, nutritious food, they grow vegetables using holistic, organic practices without chemical herbicides or pesticides. As a small farm, they focus on delivering high-quality vegetables with great attention to detail. They participate in the Community Accreditation for Produce Safety Program and are members of several farming organizations, including the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont, National Young Farmers Coalition, and Vermont Vegetable & Berry Growers Association.
