Middlebury Festival On The Green

The Middlebury Festival on the Green is a week-long music festival held every year starting the weekend after July 4th. It is on the Middlebury Town Green in the center of town. There are noon Brown Bag children's shows and two evening performances at 7:00 & 8:30 pm featuring noted international and regional artists. There are many genres of music included in the week as we try and present something for everyone. Everything is free, but we do "pass the hat" during intermission to help support the festival. It has been acclaimed by Vermont Life as “the best series of free performances in Vermont” and as Vermont's “Favorite Festival.” We have also been distinguished many years as a Vermont Chamber of Commerce “Top Ten Summer Event.”
