NBNC’s 28 acres of fields, river, and woods offer opportunities for all ages to play, learn, and explore in nature. Our trails are always open and free to use. Our building, with restrooms, water, art gallery, and nature displays, is generally open 9-5 Monday-Friday (not all holidays, nor the last week of the year). As Central Vermont’s hub for nature education, we offer presentations, field trips, and workshops to enrich your understanding of the natural world. Our nature-based education programs for all ages immerse people in extraordinary learning environments with an acclaimed, innovative teaching team. These include after-school, home school, summer camps, Educator Institutes, and our longstanding partnership with area public schools.
