Putney Mountain Spirits
Putney Mountain Spirits grew out of the same creative impulse as Putney Wines: To make superlative spirits, worthy of devotion by the most discerning palates. Putney Spirits reflect the same style and exacting attention to flavor as Putney Wines. They are achieved in small batches by enlisting the best, freshest and most local ingredients.
Putney Bubbly is non-alcoholic and captures the fresh and vibrant flavor of just-pressed fruit. With no added sugar, preservatives, or water, our Sparkling Cider is simply apples and bubbles – and simply delicious. It received the Yankee Magazine Editor’s Food Award in 2017.
Local organic pears blended with tart crab apples yield a light, dry wine with a hint of fruit and overtones of citrus. Dry, but not acidic. Makes a perfect glass of white wine before dinner.
A silky dry red wine from Vermont Blueberries. Mildly tannic and full-bodied. Pair it with beef, lamb, salmon, and Vermont cheeses.
Bright, lively sparkling apple wine – feels like Champagne, tastes like apples. Semi-dry, with a peel-like astringency, it captures the distinctive flavor of the Northern Spy apple variety. It was christened on the Navy’s newest submarine, the USS Vermont on October 20, 2018.
Pure cranberry wine made with Cape Cod Cranberries. Richly flavorful tart and semi-dry cocktail and dinner wine. Serve chilled with poultry, especially turkey or duck. Delicious in sparkling wine cocktails and in an Old Fashioned glass over ice with lime.
Rhubarb Blush is a subtle blend of rhubarb and strawberry with a hint of red raspberry to highlight the balance between the sweetness of the berries and the tartness of the rhubarb. A summer treat to be enjoyed anytime, anywhere.
