Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company (VFCC) is a community-owned artisan cheese and dairy facility in South Woodstock, VT. It began as a community effort to preserve a picturesque 18-acre dairy farm in 2009. VFCC produces award-winning artisanal cheeses and has a history of innovative partnerships within the local community. They acquired Whitney’s Castleton Crackers in 2013, creating the first artisanal cheese and cracker company in Vermont. VFCC cheeses have won numerous awards, including Vermont Cheddar Creamery of the Year at the 2021 New York International Cheese Competition. The company is committed to nurturing its land and animals and embraces a spirit of community to produce fresh, quality, artisanal cheese, crackers, and local products.
